A book jacket design I've created for the penguin student design award contest, the book I chose was A short history of nearly everything by Bill Bryson.

The book revolves around the development of the world from the big bang and our knowledge of it. The design style I decided to go with is centred graphic I made of the planet and also a more obscure and original background to add contrast to the text and the graphics. 

Overall I'm happy with the results of the book jacket and thinks it displays the contents and the theme of the book really well in a unique and different style.
